Jonathan was the technician who replaced the windshield. He called in advance to let me know his schedule and when I should expect him. Just as he said, he arrived. He went to work immediately and completed the job in a little over an hour. Jonathan was a very friendly young confident man. We small talked before and after the job.
I have a 2013 Ford F-150 that needs a windshield replacement as well. If all goes well with this windshield replacement, I'll be calling the Windshield GURU for a quote.
Thank you for the work.

The FIRST TIME that “Cutting Edge Glass” came out to replace my hatchback’s glass, Buddy was extremely careful and meticulous in his work It would have been the perfect install if the clip hadn’t broken off while he was reconnecting the connectors to the heating element. He told me he’d have to come back with another piece of glass, and the office should let me know by the end of that day when he would be coming back.
Then things spiraled downward from there. Not hearing back from them for a re-replacement day/time, I called them twice: first leaving a voicemail message but didn’t get a call back, and the second time talking to the lady who answered the phone who promised to call me back with the information—but didn’t.
When I finally heard back from Buddy who told me he was heading my way, I had to change my plans midstream and head back home to meet him—wanting to get the job over with.
The second time out was like day & night. He was rushing & sloppy. He removed the defective glass with what looked like a hand-held jackhammer to remove it quickly. He applied the new adhesive and seated the new piece of glass. Then he immediately lifted the hatch— without taping down the glass to stabilize it — to reinstall the wiper motor. As he was doing so, I watched the glass sliding downward, touching the top of the hatch frame. After he installed the motor, he lowered to Hatch again and I pointed out that the glass had moved. He reposition the glass and then proceeded to open the hatch again — again without taping down the glass to keep it in position— to connect the heating element wires and replace the cowling. Again, I noticed the glass sliding back downward out of position. When he was finished and lowered the hatch again, I again pointed out that the glass had shifted. He repositioned it again, and finally taped it into place, but I noticed that there was adhesive all over the place now. I will attach two pictures to show you, but I have several others as well.
The next day, after the 24 hour waiting period, I remove the tape from the glass and really got disgusted with how much Black adhesive was on the hatchback frame, showing all around the glass.
I’m not a happy camper as to how this looks, and after the glass shifted positions and was repositioned twice, I’m not even certain that there’s a water seal around the glass at this point…
Based on these results, I certainly wouldn’t recommend this service to any of my friends. I’d like to hear back from you regarding this ordeal & result.
Very dissatisfied,
Jack
