What is “personally identifiable information”?
"Personally identifiable information” (PII) is information that specifically identifies you or could be used to identify you when collated with other information and which is submitted to or collected by Glass One sites and retained by Glass One in an accessible format. Some examples of PII are your name, your mailing address, and your phone number.
How does Glass One collect information on its sites?
Glass One gathers information using two methods:
PII You Submit to our site: Glass One collects PII entered into data fields on Glass One Sites. For example, you might submit your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, type of vehicle, vehicle identification number (VIN), license plate number, insurance carrier or other information in order to schedule services, receive information about various subjects, contact Glass One customer service, or respond to Glass One surveys. To protect your privacy, you should not provide any information that is not specifically requested by Glass One.
Passive Collection of Anonymous Information: Glass One may collect information about your visits to Glass One sites without you actively providing such information. Does Glass One combine PII?
Glass One may combine PII that you provide on one Glass One Web site with that provided by you on other Glass One Sites. This consolidated information is used to help us improve the design of our sites and products, to provide you with information, to facilitate marketing and research, and to expedite other business functions.
What options can I choose about how Glass One collects and uses my PII?
You always have the option to limit the PII that Glass One receives about you by choosing to not enter any PII into forms or fields on Glass One Sites. Some services can only be provided to you if you provide us with the necessary information. Other areas of Glass One Sites may offer the choice to opt out or opt into our contact lists for promotional offers, or other services that you may be interested in. How might my information be used by Glass One in Advertising?

Who has access to my PII?
PII is only accessible to a limited number of Glass One employees, your insurance company (if we are processing an insurance claim on your behalf), third party shops that you have chosen to contact or have submitted your information to, by other companies that Glass One may partner with to conduct joint programs, and by individuals and entities that Glass One contracts to carry out business activities on behalf of Glass One.
Does Glass One share PII with third parties?
In general, Glass One will not share your PII with third parties, unless it is necessary as part of a joint program with an affiliate or to conduct a program or activity through a contractor, including, without limitation, the third-party shops that you may have selected through Glass One Sites. Where it is required by law, Glass One will not provide your personal information to third parties for use as part of said ‘third parties' marketing purposes, without providing you with an opportunity to opt in or opt out of this disclosure. However, if Glass One sells any of its sites, divisions, or product lines, your personal information may be transferred to the purchaser so that said purchaser can continue to provide you with information and services previously provided by Glass One. Glass One reserves the right to disclose your personal information to respond to authorized information requests from Legal authorities, to address national security situations, or when otherwise required by law.
How does Glass One protect PII?
In order to protect your PII from unauthorized access and use, we use a layered approach to physical and logical data controls. These measures include access control and various other controls.
How does Glass One protect the privacy of children?
Glass One does not knowingly collect or use any PII from children (we define "children" as minors younger than 13 years old) on Glass One Sites. We do not knowingly allow children to communicate with us, order our products, or use any of our services. If you become aware that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us regarding the issue using one of the methods specified below. We will work with you to address any issues.
How may I correct my PII or delete it from customer records?
You may request to have your PII deleted from our current customer records or to have your information amended.
